In Wipeout Canada, Wipeout Canada contestant 'Hot Cop' Kara Darnley from the episode Hot Cop and the Fuzz was used to live here in Wasaga Beach, and she was chosen by that piano player Kelsi Nielsen from the city of Pembroke, and she was eliminated in the Sweeper round, but did not advance to the Dizzy Dummy, but was related to the fuzz from Saskatoon. Wipeout Canada has a contestant from Wasaga Beach, Kara Darnley. Kara Darnley is eliminated in the Sweeper round, losing to Pembroke arm wrestler Kelsi Nielsen.
