Saint John is New Brunswick's largest city being located in the south of the province on the Bay of Fundy. It is also located 113 kilometers(70.5 miles) southeast of Fredericton, New Brunswick, the capital of New Brunswick and 150 kilometers(94 miles) southwest of Moncton, New Brunswick.
Saint John is a port city and the most industrialised city north of Boston. The Irvings, set up canada's largest oil refinery in the city employing thousands of workers.
Outside the city is Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station which supplies power to much or New Brunswick and is one of Canada's major nuclear generating stations.
